After a traffic stop of both cars, the co-defendant was found with three pounds and my client was found with 7 pounds of cannabis and over $70,000.00 in cash.Case reported on by: - Case
DismissedCharge(s): DUI DRUGS / 23152(e)Date: August, 2019Details: Client was a long-term methadone user who had not used heroin or other illegal drugs for over 20 years. The police officer insisted that he was high on heroin. I was able to show the DA that my client was not guilty of DUI DRUGS - Charges

The case involved hundreds of pre-packaged “dabs,” cooking apparatus, over 300 butane canisters, a bowl with over 10 pounds of hash/honey oil/shatter and over 100 pounds of marijuana flower. Case dismissed due to lack of evidence after the evidence was all thrown out. - Case
DismissedCharge(s): Child dependency caseDate: March 2019Details: 4 children were removed from the home because there was an anonymous call that marijuana was smoked by the parents. Marijuana was found hidden atop a closet out of reach of the children. Nonetheless, Child Protective Services removed the children from the home. Never a Prosecutor
Although many defense attorneys advertise that they once worked for the District Attorney or prosecutor’s office, at Jay Leiderman Law, we are proud of the fact that we’ve never worked to incarcerate individuals accused of crimes, nor would we.Why would you hire someone who at one time worked hard to jail someone for the very crime for which you or your loved one is now being accused? Is that person one who believes in you and your case? Do they truly care about your rights? Did they care about them when they used to tell the judge to lock someone just like you up — to toss in jail? Most ex-prosecutors advertise that they “know the judges” and can get you a special deal. After years of practice, experienced defense attorneys like Jay Leiderman know the judges just as well. But Jay Leiderman will fight your case – he’s not looking to get you a deal – he’s looking to WIN!Insist on an Experienced Criminal Defense Attorney
Hire someone that knows defense work inside and out, and believes in you, your rights, and your innocence. Hire someone with a proven record of always fighting for those just like you—not against you!At Jay Leiderman Law, we don’t take any case that walks through the door. Instead, we focus exclusively on criminal defense. The District Attorney for Ventura County, Greg Totten, has vast resources and a team of dedicated prosecutors focused on prosecuting crimes. When fighting criminal charges, you need a criminal defense attorney focused on your defense, with the experience and passion to aggressively fight the charges. If the crime allegedly occurred in Ventura County, then it will be prosecuted at the Ventura Hall of Justice, the East County Courthouse in Simi Valley, or the Juvenile Courthouse in Oxnard, CA.
